BioCharacter’s Name: Matoi Tsunetsuki.
Character’s Fandom: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
Character’s Personality/Background: Matoi is creepy and obsessive, in short. In a more lengthy description, Matoi is a creepy, obsessive, and relentless stalker. She recognizes that whenever she falls in love, she is hopelessly obsessed with a person--she begins to take on the fashion styles and interests of her object of affection and assimilates herself to him. Because of this tendency, she's been in the gothic lolita scene, the punk rock scene, ganguro, otaku--you name it, if she's had a boyfriend interested in it, she's been there. But it doesn't stop there...
When they are apart... endless text messages. Continuous phone calls. If he doesn't answer, fax him. She worries about his actions and so plants bugs in his room. And at night, no matter what, she simply must see him. In fact, she has created duplicate keys for herself to use for this simple purpose. During the day, she follows him. Shadows him. Everywhere. He'll find her under desks, peeking through doors, standing behind him in the bathroom. Wherever he goes, Matoi is sure to follow.
Oh, her parents know she has a problem--her mother has noticed whenever her daughter plasters new pictures, hair samples, toenail clippings, logs of a man's actions all over her wall--but it doesn't seem they've taken any action to stop her (they just think she has a new crush). Matoi herself? She doesn't believe she's a stalker--NO! she's just deeply in love. One never knew deep love could be so frightening. Though she has gotten in trouble with the police before, Matoi simply can't stop herself. She's absolutely hopeless when in love. Her deep love runs so deeply that even she cannot control it. AHHHH~♥ HOW MUCH SHE WANTS TO KNOOOOOW~♥ What is he doing? Where is he?? She simply MUST know!!
Her latest "deep love" is none other than her teacher, Itoshiki-sensei. A man of despair, Itoshiki-sensei declared to Matoi that true deep love isn't about following your love interest but is rather about having the willingness to die together. After extending the invitation to her--claiming that if she ever wanted to die, he would willingly die with her--Matoi realized that her sensei was, in fact, confessing his love to her! (♥_♥) She dropped her previous love like a rock, and the cycle began anew.
Donning a traditional kimono, reflecting Itoshiki-sensei's own fashion style, Matoi suddenly began attending school more often...
